The Joe W. King Orthopedic Institute conducts clinical research studies aimed at improving the care of orthopedic and sports medicine patients.

> The economics of providing orthopedic health care
> Incidence of musculoskeletal conditions that are referred for orthopedic services
> Reconstructive techniques and deformity correction in orthopedics
> Measurement of quality of life and health status among persons with musculoskeletal conditions
The INSTITUTE serves as a resource to facilitate the research interests and professional activities of the physicians and allied health professionals working at the Fondren Orthopedic Group L.L.P. and in Texas Orthopedic Hospital.
